Iginla's hat trick lifts Flames over Kings 5-2

LOS ANGELES (AP) Jarome Iginla created effective scoring chances even when he sat in the penalty box.

Iginla scored a goal in each period to lead the Calgary Flames to a 5-2 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday.

The Flames captain completed his first hat trick of the season, and ninth of his NHL career, with a shot from the right circle that got past Kings goalie Jonathan Quick with 4:07 left in the game. It was Iginla's 11th goal in nine games. (MORE)
